Welcome to my blog section of my site. First, a little background on me. As you should have gathered from the main page, I live and breathe hip hop. I have been a student of the culture since the early 1980s. Along the way, I picked up rapping, beat boxing, DJing, dancing, and bombing. In the 90s, I became a member of the Universal Zulu Nation, spoke at a university, wrote for a hip hop magazine, and toured with Thump Records and Low Rider Magazine. In the early 2000s, I did some artist development.

I say all that to say this: I know the culture. My knowledge of the history and culture is sound. Although, some of the culture is a little debatable, the core remains true. My opinions are based on decades of experience, first hand knowledge, and teachings from actual pioneers who were either there or created it first hand. My opinions should not be taken lightly or placed at the same level of a novice who lacks the experience of someone like myself. Not a flex, just a fact.
